Real Time gets real

Here's the opening monologue on Real Time with Bill Maher, April 18, 2008, with "bitter" remarks about The ABC Debate (5-minutes):

Even better, here is tonight's segment with Jeremy Scahill, featuring clips from his recent trip through Pennsylvania -- surprising to see the support for Obama in these "bitter" jobless, gunloving, religious smalltowns (4.5 minutes):

Finally, more of Jeremy Scahill & the Bill Maher panel tonight, discussing issues Americans would really like to see addressed. Cornell West talks about the economy. Markos Moulitsas weighs in on "bitter" (6-minutes):

rest assured, Engima, *I* am not deleting your comments (as if). Since I added the pesky word verification thing, I haven't even had to deal with deleting the odd troll. Blogger is messed up for me; I'm back to NOT receiving comments as emails. Maybe they are frigging around with comments, too.

I just loved that Jeremy Scahill clip of smalltown PA! I wonder if he is doing a longer piece that could be put on Obama's website. There was only that one idiot at the end of it, with his safety-less gun, the only one who thinks democrats will try to take his guns. At first, I thought he was a character out of a Christopher Guest movie. I wanted to hug everyone else, even the big snarly hardcore bikers! If Obama can get them, we can do this!

This is my first time here thanks to enigma but I have seen you around for a while. I just went through your Blogs to 3/25 and you're a Blogger. I see your PP Award. That is something to be proud of because of what it means and Tom the man behind it!

Welcome! I see you at Enigma's & Tomcat's and always appreciate your insights. I promise to get by your blog more often. You have foreseen a lot of the crap we are going through, which makes you anything but average. Thanks for thinking I am a blogger of any sort. It is still very hit and miss for me.

Thanks! Hit and run! Sounds like our search for the truth. The only reason you know you found it is when it is denied and dismissed as conspiracy theory while the biggest conspiracy of destroying "our America" continues!

Thanks for your concern about me. I have just had too much on my plate and there has been too much evil in the news lately.

I have been on the burn out track for some time now though I still lurk and read my favorites, like you and my sweet rose enigma.

I like Bill Maher and since I don't have cable or HBO for that matter I don't get to see him to much.

I just put up a new post today. In fact I was writing it when you stopped by. Sorry I missed you.

Keep up the good work, your doing just fine.

God Bless.

that's it in a nutshell & why I am very upset w/those ABC debates ... the destruction of America goes blissfully on as long as people are sidetracked by trivial issues like the stupid questions they wasted my time with.

Anony-P:
what a relief! I was starting to get worried. I know you've been through a lot lately & burn-out takes its toll. Funny I got the vibe I should check on you just when you were working on a post! I'll be catching up w/blogs later tonight. Right now I'm baking fish & you know that is a delicate procedure. Thanks for stopping by. I sure hope the evil you see in the news will not extend beyond November.

It's sickening to see us go down and have it ignored for personal agenda and gain. MSM as you know is complicit so they do not care except they want to see a continuation of this mess. It was disheartening to see the Dem Debates were monkeyed with by Hannity and others. I am sure you saw the excellent coverage by enigma!

I got a return email that was undeliverable from you.

It seems that your notify me of new comments which I guess is suppose to go to you whenever anyone leaves a new comment on a posting got sent to me as undeliverable.

Just wanted to let you know there must be a problem with blogger notification to you.

Take care and ...

God Bless.

Anony-P: Sorry to concern you. I'm aware of the problem. I don't think it's blogger. It's my ISP which is blocking all blogspot & blogger. There's even a pattern to it. They do it the latter part of each month, starting in January. I've unblocked & unspammed myself so many times now, I'm very tired of it, but such is small town life that my ISP is the only choice in my neighborhood. But don't worry, your comments aren't lost permanently, they appear on my blog & I check it regularly. Then around the first of the month, my inbox is suddenly full of all the "undeliverables". Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for the laughs. Bikers with guns for Obama~ gotta love it. From what I'm hearing sounds like Obamais going to win PA.

I wish Annie Oakley would drop out.

The Obama ads have started here for the May primary. The circus begins.
Both Obama & Hill have come to my home town.

D.K. Raed said...

Oh Fran, I do hope so. But realistically, he'll probably lose PA by single-digit %. We never got to see any dem ads here for the primary. All we saw were Romney ads (his big square jaw almost filling the screen). But Obama won, UT & ID, go figure. And I think we have much in common with rural PA, which I may blog about tomorrow.
