The only thing worse than Hillary showing up for Thanksgiving, would be this guy with his styrofoam turkey ---------->>>>
ummm, tell me, corporal, what size slice of this here phoney bird would you prefer? Those nasty dems can try to cut back war funding, but I will always find some good turkey-shaped plastic for my troops. Howza 'bout some play-doh yams? Yummy!!!
And, of course, the only thing worse than either Hillary or Bush showing up for my Thanksgiving turkey, would be .... you guessed it!
Hey, I'm saving BOTH turkey legs, just in case.
And I always have plenty of Giblet Gravy.

Well DK you are really serving it up, with this thanksgiving post. Nice of you to display so many pictures of Turkeys. I don't relish the thought of these 2 @ my table either. Both have been accused of cruising the gravy. Certainly, the general public would like to tell them a thing or two about stuffing (things where the sun don't shine).
Oh how they can YAMmer on. Who could resist or refrain from having pies & this duo in the same room?
Talk about accomplishing missions....
Fran: PIES! They will definitely get a mincemeat or rhubarb (not on my fave list) in the kisser, but the Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie are mine, ALL MINE!
"Cruising the gravy" ... OMG, you gotta way with words! And you are right about "yammering" on & on & on. I'm almost afraid to turn on the TV on T-Day for fear of having to hear one of them deliver a T-Day message, thus causing a complete gastro-meltdown barforama.
Happy Thanksgiving D.K!
Deke... When you wrote:
giblet gravy smeared on their ass....
I was looking at the pic of hillary just to the left of that phrase. You have put me off the gravy today, thanks.
Have a great day, enjoy the pie.
Peace to All.
Thanks for the rich imagery, D.K. You're such a riot and a wonderful complimentary comment contrast to Fran's very nice Thanksgiving wish to us all.
Hope you and E.K. have a great holiday! ~Da
Yea I could not resist the culinary quips-- but we are in total agreement.... don't waste good pies on bad politicians. Cheers!
Thanks for the T-G wishes, all. We are about an hr away from eating & still no sign of H or B. So far, so good, heheh. Oh, I should've given Hill a CHOICE of drumstick nose OR gravy-ass, but then you know how tough those choices are for her, she'd want both! And she'd probably show up wearing BOTH diamonds AND pearls. Gack!
Our dogs are looking fwd to the leftovers -- they've already found some bits on the kitchen floor & have now carefully placed themselves underfoot so no one can walk in the kitchen without tripping.
DK you go gal, way to serve it up. Love the way your blog is coming along and yes you do have a way with words and Red Headed wisdome is full of surprises with topics and passionate commentary. Happy Holidays to all ! We are gonna take America back. Me i would have loved to have a meal with Barack and his family. Then go off , and a vegan meal with Dennis. (just some cudite of course) Anyhow just stopping by to say hi.
Hi PProg! Now you're talking ... I just don't understand how Hill topped that poll. Guess some people just want to be lectured on T-Giving. To me, Obama, Edwards, Kucinich, ANY would be better table guests. And for REAL fun, invite Mike Gravel.
D. K. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Hillary happens to be my second choice for president, but I honestly would love to have her stop by for dinner and conversation. She's hardly had a dull life and get a couple of glasses of wine in her, and heaven knows what we might hear.
Have a great Turkey Day...and hmmm, so good of you to think of sharing with Hill..and legs and gravy too...I think I would serve some Humble pie...
Jamie, nice to see ya. I confess, if she gets the nomination, I'll vote for her (not seeing a viable 3rd party). If you want to know why, scroll down to my "Sounds of Silence" post about RFK (11/8/07). But I have to admit, she could sure dish some good dirt at the dinner, especially after plying her with some good wine!
Enigma, I didn't have to nostrilize any legs this year, lucky me. Gravy? not my fault where people choose to sit; drycleaning is not included. Now, Humble Pie, oh my yes, I should've made a big one!
Hi DK. First, thanks for your visit and comment at Politics Plus. I'd quip about that last pic making me sick to my stomach were it not for where you got it. ;-)
Happy belated Thanksgiving.
Well,
Did you make it through without those visitors?
OMG,
Fran's comment is too hilarious.
Tomcat: it was nice to see someone else had the same gut revulsion about that pic, but you actually had intelligent thoughts to go with it! (whereas I went down the silly path)
Pursey: sorry to report, the legs went unnostrilized this year. Fran had so many excellent ideas, I was almost hoping they WOULD show up, just to be able to zing them! Since our dogs would've been the beneficiaries of any food fight, they are also very sorry. Afterwards, they could've taken turns gnawing on one's pant leg & peeing on the other's.
DK, in BushWorld, sometimes absurdity is the only path to sanity.
