Enigma, I love what you've done with the place! Thank you for jumping in & doing what needed to be done. But, Wisdom? That's a lot to live up to. Time will tell if I do anything with this voice you've given me, other than my usual sporadic commenting. Meanwhile, I had fun with the "profile"!

good for you...you did good on the profile that is half the battle...it was mostly just to make sure that you have a Voice...and access...and now you can anywhere you want in Blogatopia ;-)

( and over time you will see if you want to blog...time will tell)

BTW you can take the fav site to visit , unless you want a blogroll on there..otherwise- I feel kind of pretentious with my little blog up there...I did not know what I was doing ( obviously...)

anyways...I hope this makes things easier...for you...in the long run...

I don't think I can take the anony blocker for a while sadly...

wishing you the best ....

Now I'm waiting on a real outpouring of wisdom. Always enjoy your comments around the place and now you can really strut your stuff.

Hey! What with you and enigma this looks like it be a redheaded world blogging domination movement.

Seriously, congrats. And good luck.

Hah! Cartledge, you may be waiting a long time re: outpouring of wisdom. More like a nagging little trickle at this point.

Richard: nice to see ya there all tan & fit! Oh yeah, redhead domination is a given. Just gotta work out how to get Egyptian Henna in the water, so we can all wake up Red.

Hey, DK, where have I heard of you BEFORE? Aren't you a semifamous Iraqi blogger? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

And how do you get so many readers all at once on your first couple of posts? I have maybe two readers a week, and I'm lucky to get three comments a month. Is it my deoderant? I brush my teeth. I floss. I don't get it. You must have some kind of charisma that eludes me.

D.K. Raed said...

Howdy Newsguy! apparently there is an iraqi blogger with a similar name, also some danish clothing mfr (strange). But my inspiration goes further back than that ... all the way back to my favorite medieval frat-boy screw-up anglo-saxon king, Ethelred the Unraed.

As far as readers, if I blog as infrequently as I think I will, I should achieve zero fairly quickly! Charisma? You must mean Chutzpah. LOL re: deoderant & floss, esp since I'm sitting here in my fuzzy slippers & flannel robe now.

I must thank enigma for the help she has given you. Now you can let it all hang out.

Don't be afraid to speak up. That is the one thing we can still do, at least for the time being.

The day will come however if we don't there will be no one to speak up.

God Bless.

D.K. Raed said...

Thanks for the encouragement, PProgressive. I've been meaning to visit you, too, after seeing you at Pursey's. And you're right, it's really only a blogshell now, but judging by my learning curve, may remain that way for some time. DSL? oooh baby, you in da big time!
